Diljit Dosanjh won everyone's heart at Met Gala 2025- Punjabi swag on Global Stage

The Global epicenter of style and swag, Met Gala 2025 at this time it became even more special when Superstar Diljit Dosanjh won everyone's heart on the red carpet with his Punjabi powerful presence. For the first time a mainstream Punjabi made such a bold, authentic and rooted appearance at the Met Gala and the world couldn't take it's eyes off  him. He attend this event with full authenticity and confidence, No Western mimicry, no cultural dilution  just pure desi grace, delivered with world-class style. . From his embroidered phulkari shawl to his elegantly styled turban, every element told a story  rooted in the soil of Punjab and filled with pride.

Diljit first appearance at the Met Galat 2025 was wearing custom designed ivory-white Punjabi kurta and pajama with an embellished phulkari shawl, designed by Indian couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee. His outfit was inspired by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala. The look was completed with a gold torn turban and Juttis adding a subtle royal touch. Diljit Dosanjh has added another feature to his hat by making his Met Gala 2025 debut in a regal Prabal Gurung outfit, which represent Punjabi pride. 

In his interview Diljit said, 'I really like old things when people used to give time to themselves and in the old days they used to get ready with such clam and grace. I really Love clothes from the old culture and now we are in 2025 that's why I'm collaborating the both things which both generation people will like. He said confidentially to his designer that ''Our is going to be the Best''. 

His Designer Prabal Gurung entered in Diljit’s room and greeted him with a warm "Sat Sri Akal". In the interview, they said, Diljit is extremely down to earth. The way he's representing his culture through his costume is just too good and unbelievable.
